I have often wondered what's the point in blogging?
Do people really think they are that interesting? Or their lives for that matter?
Do the feel like they could be a star? That blogging is the only way they have left where they can achieve Warhol's 15 minutes?
I generally blog to vent. I know, with all the venting I do you're surprised I find something else to bitch about? Well, first we are suppose to be social yes? People have said we are social by nature. Yet, we have to be socialized? Strange. People seem to be poised and ready to read anything scathing, even if it's about them. But they generally do not think it is about them. And then of course if they were to directly ask someone the person denies it. The only problem is if or when it is about them.
People say many things you know. Another is that they admire honest people. That they dislike lying. That seems odd seeing as when you are honest to or about someone, honest in the sense that this is how you see it and you are not going to lie, you run the risk of having your tires slashed.
So how is this dilemma solved?
